Being a Freemason is being virtuous towards all mankind. Virtue is a sense of goodness, righteousness, and morality. Goodness is not perfection, but it is a sense of integrity. It is a way to nourish and help those grow around you. Righteousness is a justifiable cause. Those who are righteous. have a sense of purpose in their life.

And morality is the distinction between right and wrong. And even though morality may change with the social constructs and ideas of the time, it is that well founded faith that holds us firm in this sea of shifting sands. To be virtuous towards all mankind is to be godly towards all mankind. Loving those who don’t love you, being charitable to all, whether they ask for it or not, and always remaining in truth, for it is truth which will set you free.
